Love one another!

"And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it;  or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it"  1 Corinthians 12:26

Ha...really?  We are supposed to do that...like, in real life?  YES, absolutely!  But there is a problem with us, I believe a lot of it starts with ENVY.

I am reading a book about envy, recommended by Karen Wheaton.  It talks about how people in churches get caught up in titles or postitions and don't want anyone else to recieve (man) praise!  I can relate to this unfortunately.  I think once God reveals this in your heart you can spot it a mile away.  1 Corinthians 13:4 tells us that "Love does not envy".  Here are a few highlights in the book "Envy, the enemy within" by Bob Sorge:
~The greatest deterent to envy is love.~and let me say this...it is a choice not a feeling!
~When we learn the seccret of living for an audience of One, envy will no longer be an issue.~realize who you are in Christ!  Really accept His perfect love!  No, we are not worthy...that is why we have a reverant fear and love for God!  And, believe this:  Nothing can seperate us from His love!  There is nothing we can do to make God not love us!  HPTL!
~Competitiveness in ministry immobilized and hamstrings the advance ot the kingdom in our midst because it's the body working against itself.~how much are we doing for the kingdom of darkness???

Here is my point, we are called to love!   How in the world do we share the love of Jesus when we don't even really like, let alone, love each other.  We must realize what Jesus did for us first.  We love because He first loved us.  Pray!  Fast!  Forgive!  Encourage!=LOVE ONE ANOTHER!
